***Official Chiefs Visit/Workout/Met Thread***

It stands to reason that we will select players that we have met with, hosted for a visit, and/or had them work out for us. Why would you draft someone without setting up a meeting or talking with them? Obviously we won't be able to track phone calls, private meetings, etc... but we may as well list what we do know.

I know that ArrowheadPride keeps a really solid list in table format, but I haven't seen it updated since January. I figured we could start compiling that info here as well, even if its just borrowed from other websites like AP and PFT, among others.

I will edit this post when someone posts updated info.

I'd definitely bring him in as an UDFA. He'd at least be a great ST player.

I'm sure he would go higher in the draft if he had played on the left side.

If Barry Richardson could back up on the left and right side, maybe the Chiefs would be OK with drafting Jah Reid.
Reid looked pretty good against Georgia.

The one un-funny thing I saw about him, was that one draft site compared him to Ryan O-Callaghan. AHHHHHHH!

He's quicker, stronger, and more athletic than Ryan.

Reid was 9'3" on the broad jump and 29 1/2 on the vertical.
O'Callaghan was 7'8" and 25 for the vertical.

I watched Reid in 3 games this year including the Shrine Game. Also watched probably 6 videos of UCF highlights from the season. I'm no NFL expert but I liked what I saw of him.

I'm by no means declaring him an early round pick. He needs good coaching but he has the athletic ability that you look for and he does a good job of playing the right tackle position.

If I had my pick for an OT from this year's draft, I'd take Gabe Carimi. He could play the left or right side for the Chiefs and would greatly improve the line in his first year.

Reid could be the starter on the right side but might take him a year to earn that spot.

Edmund Gates (one of the top 5 WR in the draft, IMO) worked out for the Chiefs last week. He'll likely go in the early to middle of the 3rd round, but I wouldn't be opposed to spending a 2nd on him.

Updated.

Jesus, that kid can fly. Desean Jackson, anyone? Not even Mark Castle could over throw this guy, unless he sends it out of bounds.

That being said, he looks like a Raider based on speed alone.
