If we could have clamped down in the 4th quarter and shut some of these games down, we would be much higher.

Lots of 4th quarter garbage yards and points in those rankings.

Yep. Most important game on the schedule. It's too bad Eric Berry didn't seem to see it this way.

Exactly, time to pull the plug on this "day to day" shit.

I'd rather have Berry for a playoff game against NE...

I'm still hoping the plan is to get his sea legs under him the last month of the season and have a Bob Sanders effect in the playoffs.

This team doesn't need him right now. We're cooking with gas.

You'd think the guy would WANT to play in this game.

His heal isn't getting better. It's painful, sure. But it isn't going away. Either play through it or just say screw it and give up on the season.

If they lose to NE Sunday, they might not see NE in the playoffs.

The NFL doesn't work that way. You've only got 16 games to secure HFA.

I mean, I think they can secure it even if they lose tomorrow.

The Patriots remaining schedule isn't easy. Ours is much easier.

As hilarious as the delusion is about the defense here, and just how terrible it is, that's not even the main story of this game. It's all about how poorly your defense specifically matches up against what the Patriots do.

Your defense is mostly a cover 1/cover 3 defense. The Patriots have been wiping their asses with these coverages for years, and against much more talented defenses. Against cover 1, they'll kill you with out routes, mesh concepts w/ rub routes, and slants. Against cover 3, they will attack your linebackers (who can't cover) with curl routes. You've got no one who can cover Edelman, White, or Gronk, and Gordon is getting more comfortable in the offense with every game.

Additionally, you're allowing 6 yards per carry. Our OL has been fantastic at home in run blocking, and Michel has looked better with each passing week.

It's going to get ugly for you on that side of the ball.

You mean the same way that you ignore that your defense is slow ass against a super fast Chiefs team?

It's the Patriots. I fully expect them to finish 12-4. They're not going to lose more than a couple of games the rest of the way. That's who they are.

At the very least, the Chiefs really don't want to go to Foxboro in January. If they lose this game, that becomes a near guarantee.
