The strip club thread got me pissed off about idiotic-waste of time legislation, and it appeared that most of the posters in that thread were in agreement for once, and somehow that led to me wondering what the demographics of the planet are.

Don't know if this has been done, but I don't think so. I'm curious to find the average Chief's Planeteer. I'm far too lazy to come up with the required survey(s), but I know we have a few resident experts that might also be interested?(Rain Man) I'd suggest a blind poll.

My guess:

Age: 34.2
84% of planeteers are male
88% Caucasian
72% Protestant Christian
Average number of children per planeteer: 1.2
Average Household Income: $385k (Dane skews this one)

I think he's where I got my weakness for Asian women. Dude was a VP far east for DuPont in Japan.

Yes, that's right. Japan. DuPont, in their infinite wisdom, sent a man who worked on the Manhattan Project over there. Got to see the fruits of his labor with his own eyes.

He eventually committed suicide, unfortunately, long before I was born.

I don't think anybody in the family to this day knows what he did on the project. I don't even know where he worked on it. My oldest sister's done some FOI research into it but hasn't found anything. I believe there is (or was) a fellowship in his name at the University of Rochester, but other than that I know very little about the man.

That's very interesting, is it the general idea that because of his participation in the project and the associated grief that must have come from seeing the destruction first hand believed to be the cause of his suicide(harakiri)? My great great uncle happens to have been billy the kid and i live in lincoln county NM family has been here for many generations.
