In 2017, Butker attempted 28 extra points. In 2018, he attempted 69 extra points.

In 13 games of 2017, Butker attempted 42 field goals. In a full 16 games of 2018, he attempted just 27.

He converted 14 more field goals in 2017 vs 2018 (38 vs 24). That's a difference of 42 points. You'd think his total scoring between the two seasons would be insane, but it's actually not. Because he kicked so many freaking extra points in 2018, he's only off by 5 points between the two seasons (142 in 2017 vs 137 in 2018).

So... yeah. Mahomes hates field goals.
Wow. That's a huge difference in bundle of stickss attempted.

The Jack Fox kid is interesting. He has a huge leg. He was 2nd in the NCAA in explosive punt total.

Honesty I don’t care too much about accuracy inside the 20 anymore if a guy can flip the field booming the ball. This kid can do that.

I think this is Colquitt’s last year. We won’t be able to keep his price tag while paying all our guys big money.

That was three seasons ago. And they didn't go cheap with Parkey.

You only need a guy to boom a ball if you're constantly getting stopped on your own side of the field. With Mahomes and our offense, accuracy matters a whole lot more than distance.

Hes just got 2 years left under contract and his cap hit goes down half a mil so I'd say theres a decent chance hes on the team to finish his contract. He also took less per year money on this last deal so he might even do it again. I dont really see the need for him either but hes been our mvp in several seasons so I hope he wins a super bowl with us.

MVP didn’t punt much last year. I remember him thanking Pat for letting him punt.

On Buttkickers right is a little photo framed with Brett Veachs name and General Manager Kansas City Chiefs printed.
Is that M. Peters in his Rams #22 jersey one of the players on it?

Or are those Michigan players?

I mean... the coaches and GMs who didn't play college football at all are kind of few and far between, aren't they?

Remember that it was so jaw-dropping to people that Todd Haley never played football.
