King Carl props given. Pigs collide with airplanes.

Everybody knows I have a boner to see King Carl fired. That opinion hasn't changed but I thought props should be given to the CEO/GM/Presidente.

To take a vacation during a busy part of a football season for the CEO/GM of a football team tells the fans that you don't care to improve the team. At least he's making phone calls and trying to do something, anything to improve our defense.

When I read about him calling agents and trying to work deals it made me happy that maybe just maybe we can make one last push during the DV era and make it to the Super Bowl.

But on the other hand if he doesnt sign Rolle, Surtain. Lucas, Law or some top calibur corner he's back in my doghouse.

So Carl will be back in your doghouse if players decide they don't want to play in KC? I'm trying to figure out how he was able to extricate himself in the first place.
Will Carl be in your doghouse if he goes on vacation later this week?

Yes to both questions. If he signs a top teir CB and does something about the LB issue then he can take some time off otherwise this is your frigging job. In 2 weeks everyone that is being mentioned on this bb will be gone.

He got out of the doghouse by actually doing something to better our team. I must have extremely low expectations huh. The GM gets off his ass and does his job and I'm happy.

The only reason a player would decide that he didn't want to play in KC is if Carl wasn't offering him enough money.

"gets off his ass and does his job"

As if you had any idea what his job entails...

At what point did I say that I could do the job better? That I have an idea of what a CEO/GM/Prediente does in his day to day job? \

Do I have to know what he does to have an opinion? Can I not look around the league and see the results from the draft and FA and determine that over the last 16 years of the 5 year plan we have been sub par in those areas and blame for that lies squarely at the feet of King Carl.

I know enough to know that you don't take a vacation during one of the most crucial times for a football team seeking to improve their team, start of free agancy. He did that last year because he wasn't going to sign anyone and he knew it. His decision. Just another one of his bad decisions.

But I'm praising him for his good decision to do something, anything to get us some help for a Super Bowl run.

Quick question...when KC had the NFL's best defense in the 90's and then had the NFL's best offense in the 00's, was it because of King Carl and the fact that he didnt know defense or offense or both? Im confused.

If you don't know what he does, you can't possibly know whether or not he's doing it?

There's more to his job than just signing free agents, including being responsible for the team's finances. Those finances probalby have something to do with why he knew ahead of time we wouldn't be active in free agency last year and didn't feel the need to stick around.
