Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

That's true but I meant there is no point in spending the glimmer on a weapon upgrade unless your exotic is a pre DLC one that caps out at 300.

Ahhh. agreed on that.

I'm still trying to figure out the best rolls for each armor right now. can you help me out with that?

It depends on how you play. I personally try to max out Intellect and Discipline. Strength isn't important.

100% in each of these categories is 272 points. I have a couple of builds that put me close to the max on both of my targets.

I'm not as big on my super. At least with my hunters. I prefer strength and discipline.

PVE Hunter super is AWFUL in any endgame situation besides invis. If you try and kill lvl 30+ enemies with your super you will be let down.

Sunsinger + HOTPF or Void Walker + Obsidian Mind + Bad Juju Warlock supers OTOH are epic.

yep, I have generally found the golden gun to be useless other than in Crotas end for generating orbs in Hard Mode.

I'm about ready to ditch one hunter and start a warlock. I already have 3 of the 4 pieces of raid gear for him from random drops. Shouldn't take too long to have him to 30. Just need a helmet.

You wont be disappointed w the Warlock. Im gonna drop one hunter and start a (ugh) titan tonight. At this point its the only way I can keep playing as the repetition is finally getting to me.

I had a Titan all the way to 27 and ditched him because I just hated the play style. Just didn't fit me at all.

I like to run with maxed intellect and strength when I go Defender Titan in the crucible. Other than that it's usually maxed Intellect and Discipline for everything else.

ok, im kind of stuck at 24, do you just do the strikes and gear up through the vendor after doing about 100 strikes before you can afford to buy the damned things? lol

Buying a piece of exotic gear from Xur will help speed up the process a bit but you need to grind strikes for Vanguard marks.

Buy the chest piece off Xur for strange coins and then get the gloves and boots off your Vanguard rep as they are cheaper than the helmet or chest piece.

Next week you should have enough marks again to get the helmet if you keep at it.

need advice.....or more like....talk me out of trading in Destiny (for Bloodborne BTW).

I just cant seem to get hooked on it. I love borderlands, so I get the loot perspective, etc. but I just havent latched on to this game yet.

What's the hook that I'm not seeing?
