Just a bad night. We lost site of defense at times, took shots too quickly. Any win on an off night is good.

This ****ing kid looked like he'd never even been on a basketball court before, now he is a legit force inside, and virtually all liabilities have at least been reasonably mitigated.

****ing terrible game. Effort really wasn't there in the first half, and Robinson MUST handle the double team better. EJ needs to get out of his own way. If the 3 ball doesn't go, he must get to the rim. No more of this jacking up 6 ****ing threes and watching them all brick. We really have to get some more points in transition. That was probably the most frustrating thing.

Releford is now a key cog both offensively and defensively.

Kevin Young is still a colossal liability on defense. He doesn't provide near enough offensively to make up for it. Justin Wesley is marginally improved. He can now go :15 without a foul.

This team is notably bad if Taylor and Robinson are off and Teahan, EJ, and Releford can't hit threes. There really isn't much else this team can do, particularly if we can't get anything going in transition.



This had better be as bad as we play the rest of the season.

Manning is GOD.

It's frustrating to think what the Hawks could have, roster wise this year, if guys didn't jump to the league before they should.


They could have had Henry, Selby, and the twins to go along with what they have.

Yeah, just think what Kentucky would have. None of the players you mentioned above went "before they should" have with the exception of Selby, and even then I kinda think he might have been exposed if he stayed another year.

I think the twins should have stayed, just for the fact of the NBA situation this year. Selby as well.

Henry should have stayed too, he had alot to learn.

If you go in the lottery, you should not stay, ever IMO.

If you can be a lottery pick in the NBA draft, you should go every time. Too much risk in coming back. Henry and the Morrises made the right decision. Selby was never interested in playing college basketball in the first place, so he made the right decision for him as well. And when TRob does it at the end of this year, it will also be the right move. His value isn't getting any higher after this season.

I don't see the point in dwelling on what this team lost. As it is, they have more than enough talent to be one of the best teams in the country.

You can go back only a few months ago in this thread and see how much I hated Withey and his wishy-washy ways. Now he's probably the best defending big in the B12 and an incredibly efficient one at that. He's randomly gone from a 50% shooter at the line to 85%. An amazing transition. His improvement is arguably the reason why this team's ceiling is now #1 in the NCAA as opposed to Top 5 or Top 10.
