2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

Got a ton invested in Clark (if the deal happens) and presumedly Chris Jones.
Better hope and pray for health on your DL, a position group that on average isn’t the healthiest. Just draft a mother****ing guy, Veach. **** this Frank Clark shit |

I'd trade 29 for Clark and pay him.
If he didn't have domestic violence issues. But he does. F that. Enough of that crap, I'd rather see if Sweat drops to 29. |

What about kicking the tires on Ansah..a prove it, one year type? "I've always been a big fan and thought he was underrated and underappreciated in his prime with the Lions. But Ansah has had trouble staying healthy, missing 14 games over the past three seasons. I think a smart, playoff favorite will pounce on a short-term prove-it deal and hope Ansah gets back to his double-digit-sack form. But maybe, with Ziggy turning 30 in May, his productive days are behind him." |

Can anyone explain to me how just trading up for a DE plus signing Ziggy Ansah to a one year or two years contract wouldnt be better than trading a 1st round pick and paying a massive contract to Frank Clark?

The Chiefs are in on Clark. Seattle gave them a window to talk about a deal w/Clark. No trade in the NFL happens blindly w/out this move happening first. The Chiefs need to understand possible terms. If they don't like them, deal won't get done. I am hearing 2nd rounder, tho.
From that Marty guy Clay really likes

If they're talking contract, it's already been agreed to terms wise.
