I would love some helpful information

I just moved, I no longer have a doctor or time to get a prescription or hit up a dermatologist.

Texas is much dryer than Illinois and it has cause me to breakout for the first time in years...back when I used to break out my dermatologist put me on ampicillin 500mg.

I remember the dosages and took it for over a year.

I don't feel like paying $200 to see a dermatologist and I bought some aquatic ampicillin 500mg and it's supposed to be safe for human consumption (even though it warns against it)

supposedly it's the same exact stuff as the ampicllin you get at a pharmacy

I've researched quite thoroughly, but was hoping some of you all would have some insight...other than antifreeze or AIDS or...well any of that is fine, too...but would like some useful stuff in the middle.

Don't get your body hooked on pills. If you already have, wean it off.

If you can wait until tomorrow when I get back to work (hospital pharmacy) I can give you a definitive answer.

Soliciting and dispensing medical advice on a football message board is ill-conceived. I don't remember ampicillin being used to treat acne. More commonly tetracycline and its derivatives are taken orally for acne treatment.

doubt ampicillin is addictive...it's like a gentle amoxycillin that fights bacteria and some dermatologists use it to prevent acne...

worked for me when I used to take it...

it's not in any way, shape or form addictive..

well when I was 20 and went to the dermatologist he told me to stop using over the counter acne products and put me on 500mg ampicillin 1 in the morning 2 at night and it cleared me up a week after and for the last 6 years (haven't taken it in probably 4 years)

have the same sort of breakout now since moving that I did when he put me on that long ago

Carving out an hour for a doctor's appointment is well worth the potential downside. Even if aquatic ampicillin is the exact same stuff, can you trust the seller who is providing you with the pills?

Even if you don't have time to be referred to a specialist, perhaps you should just get an appt. with a general practitioner and tell them to cut you a script for some minocycline. Even if you don't have insurance, Wal-Mart would most likely fill that script for a few dollars.

I have insurance but I need to cancel it because I'm out of my coverage area in Dallas.

The seller had a 99.9% rating on a shit ton of ratings on Ebay...I did as much research as possible as I don't like to put myself in any sort of jeopardy...(I know, I know...then just get an appointment...)

I'm just really lazy.

There's a reason why your body can't fight the bacteria you're talking about. Pills should be a "I got sick, needed help, thank you" solution.

I'm being totally honest Hootie, break out a juicer in the morning for one week and see how your body treats you back. Down some kale, broccoli rahb, beets and other raw foods.

You're body is a lot like your car or any other piece of machinery.

What are you giving your machine function? Bet it's not good if this is where your at. And I'll shut the **** up if you are, and I'm actually going to bed but think about it.

Break out... as in acne? Does a drier climate make that worse? I'd have thought the opposite.

do you agree with this...

10,000 people (or so) have bought "fish"cillin from this seller, 99.9% positive...are these people all really treating fish? Or are they self medicating?

He sells amoxycillin, penicillin, the shit that cures chlamydia (and I promise I'm not buying that stuff, if I had chlamydia, I'd tell you all just like last time!)...

I doubt assholes are all buying this stuff for their fish...I mean, the auction itself kind of makes it sound like it's a "human workaround"...by stating...

"also", this is labeled aquatic so you don't need a prescription

etc etc etc
