Chiefs Gameday transportation

So my Mom's friend is flying her brother in from Puerto Rico, and they will be attending the Raiders game. They will be staying on the Plaza and are looking for the best way to get to and from the game. I think carefree is ideal (public transportation, shuttle) so they can have a bit more fun, but they don't know if a cab fair sitting in traffic will be easy to stomach or coordinate.

Is public transportation viable? Shuttle? Or drive yourself? Other? What do you all recommend?

On a lighter note, do they still have shuttles from certain parking lots around KC? We used to take that from OP, no issues at all.

The cheapest way? - The Metro isn't it like $10 round trip or something? I forget I haven't road one to the Chiefs game in years...and then I think it was only like $7.

Parking at Arrowhead is $27 So who's all going? 4-5 can split that cost and it would be better or more fun of a time riding in a car together...gives a little more freedom to arrive earlier to tailgate hop etc, plus you can listen to the 101FM Fox gameday radio and smoke in the car on the way to the game!!!

Coming from downtown KC to Arrowhead is a god damn nightmare though. Much better heading westbound towards Arrowhead in terms of traffic. Plus they're always working construction on the eastbound traffic lanes. Wonder if it's just better to take i70 to the 40hwy 31st st exit and head on 40hwy east til you get to Blue Ridge blvd and just go around all that damn mess, but it's probably longer in terms of mileage but it's probably quicker.....because seriously....**** driving to Arrowhead going eastbound out of downtown when you get around Manchester trafficway and 435. That's a god damn mess.
