As long as it's Ban Week, can we ban Knowmo?

Some might ask what rules he's breaking. But I mean, BlackBob didn't break any rules either, technically. It doesn't say anywhere in the Chiefs Planet code of conduct that you can't sue the Planet.

Some might recognize that he's an annoying piece of shit, but claim that's no reason to ban him. That's the thing. Chiefs Planet in the past has prided itself as a community on making life miserable for n00bs and trolls, with the assumption that they'll leave naturally. That has not occurred with Knowmo. He loves it here, as evidenced by his inability to resist welching on a year-long self-imposed ban, of which he served only three months.

But why does he love it here? He's not here to make friends or socialize. He's not here to discuss football (no, posting douchey twitter updates about how awesome the Broncos are doesn't count as talking football). He's not even here to talk smack. That leaves only one possibility: He's here to troll.

So a troll like him is not only welcome here, but he gets his own thread to post all his little nuggets of joy. And that's bullshit that he keeps all his stuff confined to one thread. He's constantly posting Bronco shit in other football threads. Again, not talking football. He's not posting his own opinions or analysis like our other Donk fans. He's just posting twitter updates.

I know the mods don't get involved with personal disputes like bets for a reason, but he shouldn't even be here right now. He's supposed to serve a year-long ban when he lost to PGM. He should be out of commission until the divisional playoffs round in 2014. But once again, he couldn't ****ing resist. He's just DYING to troll our forum and get a rise out of people.

It was a funny joke for awhile. But the joke has worn itself out in the past couple of years. And it's starting to smell.

I request that we at least consider the possibility of taking out the ****ing trash. At least for a few months until he's supposed to come back in January.

Here's a brief history about these polls... I created them. I did it because I got tired of complaints about people like memyselfI. I told the complainers that if they could win a majority that we would ban her, suspecting that they couldn't get a majority. They never did. Denise was put to vote about once a year for the first 4-5 years of this board among a few others. Excepting a couple of obnoxious trolls we never got around to banning before a poll was created, nobody was ever banned due to the results of a poll. Blackbob is a recent one and I was a little surprised he "won" that poll.

I think there are two facts that skew this one. One - he's a Broncos fan. Two - he apparently welched on a bet. I suspect if he served his full year that this poll would be a whole lot closer. But we don't want to get into the business of enforcing side-bets. It's not really fair to expect us to do that.

What about unnecessarily bumping a thread for no reason? IE the (what was previously called the power ranking thread) Isn't bumping a thread for no reason a bannable offense?

And that's definitely fair. I'm pretty sure PGM feels the same way that I do in that the bet welch is what takes the cake. The Broncos are great, but he's supposed to be serving a year-long ban. That didn't agree with him because the trolling is just that good on CP, so he came back and justified it with bullshit. Because, well... **** honor when you can troll a Chiefs forum in the midst of your favorite team's legendary season. He could have served the bet the entire year and still come back in plenty of weeks' time to soak up the trolling when Denver goes to the Super Bowl. That's the thing. He could have had both.

Oh well. I don't blame you guys wanting to stay hands off with agreements between posters. You guys are probably making the right call. Knowmo will just have to be a piece of shit human, I guess.
