Whether or not I believe a player is guilty of an accusation is strongly correlated with whether or not the player is a Kansas City Chief.

I have recently realized that Tyreek Hill is guilty of everything he has ever been accused of, and should be banned for life from football. Deshaun Watson is also guilty imo.

Willie Gay acted in self defense against that vacuum though.

not sure probably when he was in college I would guess. But getting a free tattoo or free anything wouldn't be against the rules of the NFL?

Good read, hopefully others will read her comments too.

Ultimately she says she gave the harshest punishment the nfl has ever produced to a non violent crime of an nfl player but states that it should be harsher but that the nfl is to blame as they have a history of taking too long to react to players actions (she used ray rice as a example) and stated that the nfl is only now asking for a year suspension due to the image they fear to be tarnished by only a 6 game suspension.

She took a few good jabs at the NFL, so that’s nice.

Those are both good explanations, but they miss the part about ownership and that sue robinson has to take into consideration disparate punishments. The delicious irony is that the same douche bags who preach about the shield are the same guys who limited their power to enforce player punishments by refusing to punish themselves. The nflpa was locked and loaded with an appeal to complain about snyder, jones and to some extent kraft. They set the benchmark at 0 games which is why the nflpa suggested 0 games. The nfl cannot appeal even though they want 12 games because they know this exposes the owners.

And now this has to be a new precedent set. If Jim irsay gets 0 games for a dui how can a player get 4? How can Watson get 12 games when jones, snyder and kraft get 0? This type of light punishment was set up because the owners ended up tying their own hands.

I understand your points but I think the NFL is absolutely appealing. Not that they actually need to as Goodell could just change it to a year now on his own (not that I expect that).
