This is just freakin bizzare
SO I get home and my internet is working like crap (pages half loading/timing out)...at first I thought it was my airport since the cat had knocked it off my desk but after a few reboots of my cable modem and the airport plus a call to comcast (expereinceing high call volume) I determined it was the cable company....BUT Chiefsplanet is the only webpage I can surf to righ tnow without the page timing out....why would that be?

At the risk of sounding like a complete internet moron (which I am)...

The reason you can get to CP may have something to do with temp internet files or cookies. I believe they "save" web pages that you visit, so any sight that you visit frequently will load faster than a random site. This may explain the access to the Planet, but not other sites.

I'll now wait for someone much smarter to tell me how wrong I got it.

As far as I could tell their DNS was hosed, I couldn't get any name resolution at all. I'm glad it wasn't just me fighting with the comcast issues.
