We avoid Supercenters like the plague, but frequently shop at a Walmart Neighborhood Market for groceries. Better staff, convenient pharmacy hours, and have most everything that we regularly use. We still go to a butcher for meat, but they cover most of the standards. For our larger, weekly trips, we just order online, and use their grocery pickup.

Yes. I was at one yesterday.

For stuff like Laundry Detergent, Fabric Softener the occasional clothing item and ammunition it can't be beat. I also occasionally shop there for groceries.

There are three Targets closer to me than any Walmart. The in laws live in a small town and Walmart is all there is. So I go maybe twice a year down there.

When absolutely necessary, which is rare. Their Neighborhood Market's are cool.

Gonna check out that hot food bar though.

Yup, we have a very nice Walmart Neighborhood market by us. It's got great prices on almost everything and rarely busy. Only thing I don't buy at Walmart is their meat, because it seems their meat prices are higher than almost every other grocery store for some reason.

But I vary where I shop. Sometimes another store will have good sales and matched with their online coupons there can be great deals. Does take a bit of planning and work though, which is why we sometimes just do the Walmart Neighborhood Market as prices are always good and I don't have to add a bunch of online coupons before shopping.

I'd rather go there than Hy-Vee. This city is a cesspool in and of itself, so there really aren't many options. I don't like to go there, but what choice do I have when Hy-Vee inflates their prices like they do?

Living in the boonies, we really don't have a lot of choices unless we want to live on wild berries and wipe with the Sears catalog.

We still get our meat from the farm, but other than that we probably spend about a grand a month at Walmart.

If it's the most convenient option, sure.

I have a Neighborhood Market not too far from me. It's the closest grocery store and if i'm just running to grab a couple of things I'll go there and use the self checkout. Cheap and I'm in and out in five minutes without the hassle and trashiness of a Supercenter. Otherwise it's Hyvee and Costco.

I would just for that Cherry Limeade Clear American Sparkling Water, but there isn't a Walmarts close to me.
