Gotta have a defense first. Brady won most of his titles because his defense would show up in the playoffs.

Sometimes the best QB doesnt always win. I'd take Brees, Manning, Rodgers (and probably Mahomes too) over Brady any day.

Brady benefited from playing a shit AFCE for 20yrs...for 2 decades that division has been dogshit with exception of Rex's Jets for like a yr or 2...that division hasnt been wortha shit since Jim Kelly and Dan Marino.

And honestly its gonna be like that in AFCW too. Rivers wont play much longer and Oakland and Denver arent going to be competitive anytime soon.

Hopefully Mahomes can take advantage of that and hopefully Reid/Veach give him a defense thats wortha shit.

The absolute worst place for Hunt to end up was Cleveland.

Too close to home. Team loaded with a bunch of high profile individuals who lack maturity.

Yeah, but after this latest incident he has learned. This latest incident really opened his eyes. Up until now, he just hadn't put two and two together.

Same thing for those Montana 49er teams in the 80s. The NFC West (Rams, Saints, and Falcons) was a dumpster fire for most of Montana's career.

Montana had a lot of good teams to beat on his way to the SB. That was pre free agency as well.

True but I was comparing the dreadful AFC East that Brady has been able to feast off of for his entire career to the NFC West that Montana faced. Also was linking CoMo's call out that the Chargers, Raiders and Donks should suck for a considerable time and having PMII right now let's us follow in Brady & Montana's regular season footsteps.

Here are the AFCE 1st round QBs taken during the Brady era (2002-present)...only ONE selected during the first 10 years...and 3 total. Kraft must have finally allowed their owners to select one...as all three have new 1st round QBs now.

None of those teams have had a franchise QB in almost 2 decades....by contrast, the Browns have selected 3 first round QBs over that period.

Bills
2013 16 EJ Manuel QB Florida State

Dolphins
2012 8 Ryan Tannehill QB Texas A&M

Jets
2009 5 Mark Sanchez QB USC 7* 5

Anybody who still pines for Kareem Hunt and thinks we needed to and still need to invest significantly in a RB to replace his production is a huge butt****ing moron.

I miss Hunt...he brought a nasty, physical presence to Reid's finesse offense. He ran over people...

He's obviously going to be a sub package inside rusher.

They're just holding their cards close to the vest so teams don't realize it until the regular season.

Bet he doesn't play a single snap there in preseason.

Well, shit!

With the best QB in the league, the best TE in the league, a faster version of He Hate Me, and some really good speedy pass catchers out of the backfield, I have NO ****ING CLUE where or how the Chiefs are going to be able to replace those extra yards that Hunt used to gain from running over people!!!!!!

WE'RE ****ED

I would rather them just put him in there permanently TBH.

I hope they're doing it because he's good in there, not just to see if something else would work because he's not making it at DE
