positives/negatives of the game
Negatives - We have to commit to the run at some point. How many times in third in short did we come out in shotgun? Feed Jamaal!

The offensive line has to get better. Not much else to say about them.

We also have too many penalties, especially against the offense. Albert had at least three, I believe.

Positives - Batted balls. Lots of hands up taking away passing lanes. It was nice to see.

Justin Houston and Poe are monsters. Our defense has a chance to be great.

3-0!!! I don't care if they've been ugly, it's just fun to be winning again.

I'd love to hear some positive/negatives from you more educated viewers.

The play calling was uber-conservative and counter-productive.

We did not take advantage of the turnovers our defense provided us.

We allowed numerous big plays in the passing game and allowed the opposing HB to break huge runs.





Despite all this we still won.

If we ever get our $3it together this team could be special...

Defense is about talent and desire. We lack in neither. The offense is going to improve over time, and as it does, the defense will have an easier job.

Dustin Colquitt left foot punt that the guy fumbles gives us an easy 3 points to start the game.

F the shotgun run plays on third and one or third and three they aren't fooling anybody. That is why I hate the draw play.

Agreed. I felt like the Chiefs were in complete control the whole game. Outside of giving up a few long Vick scrambles, the Eagles O was contained about as well as a team can contain them. Great game, I'm pretty pleased except for the shoddy o line play and penalties at times.

Positives: Alex Smith and the offense in the 4th quarter. The defense for holding Philly to 16 pts. Berry with the pick 6. D forcing turnovers. Flowers having a great bounceback game holding DeSean Jackson to 62 yards. S. Smith shutting down his side of the field and getting an INT.Andy Reid dissing Sal Pal postgame. Chiefs fans during the NFL Network postgame.

Negatives: Alex Smith and the offense in the first half. Not taking advantage of turnovers...getting FGs instead of TD's and not moving the ball at all. Smith not throwing deep. O-line not blocking and looking lost out there for the first 3 qtrs.

Overall, we are 3-0, and the team is better than last year. The coaching is light years ahead of last year. Hopefully the oline will gel and get better as the season progresses, and hopefully as that starts to happen Smith can take some shots downfield.
