**Official NE Pats play an actual NFL team tonight**

Yes, the NE Patriots will actually have to play against a good NFL team tonight.

We will see how good their defense really is.

Winning a championship determines that.
Guess I shouldn’t have come at you with that. You’ve been reasonable.

But didn’t Belichick’s famous tweaks and adjustments last year occur after their last embarrassing defensive performance (vs the Titans)?

I thought that was the moment that they flipped the switch and became the defense that they are now. Until last night, only the Chiefs had scored a lot of points on them.

You're right. We will never get an ounce better. We have NO HISTORY of getting better as a season progresses. The evidence supports your position completely.

Tom has nothing left and your team just isn't very talented outside the back seven on defense.
If you actually understood what you were watching, you'd understand that the offense's problems this year are much more centered around the offensive line, together with the loss of some reliable receivers with whom Brady had a lost history.

Whether Brady has declined somewhat or not, he's not "the problem." Any fool with eyes could tell you that.

As for the front 7, it's about the same as last year, except more athletic with the addition of Jaime Collins and a pretty decent rookie in Winovich.

And haven't you been beating this SAME DRUM FOR FIVE YEARS?

I mean, is the plan to just keep saying it until you are eventually right, and then say "I KNEW IT!!"? JFC.

Do you realize that Mahomes played through injuries all throughout his college career?

Against Oklahoma, he put up over 800 yds and 7 TDs with a scaphoid injury and an injured throwing shoulder. But yeah, a dislocated knee is going to derail his career.

Keep hoping, clown. Pathetic.

While Brady is still good I did see multiple throws that were just off just like every week. Some of his long balls look like he's got no strength. But some do. He's lost his consistency. Maybe I'm just used to watching Mahomes, I don't know . But I do think Bradys age is showing,(he's needs to eat some bacon).
While you're right about the OL they were still protecting Brady very well. But the Defense!!! NOT ELITE! Just admit, until last night they had faced NOBODY!

No worries.

Nah. Dolphins and Squealers ran on us in December as well.

Last year was weird. They sucked until they got their head out of their ass right before Christmas. At that point they started playing more aggressive.

Right now all teams need to do vs us is line up and run the ball right down our throat but it takes teams with that kind of personnel to pull it off. BAL has always been a physical team. DAL can. I think Philly is capable. HOU is. I think you guys can if you commit to running the ball but Reid likes his passing game....

Bill has been playing a light d-line all year and last night it finally caught up to us.

I would not be surprised if he picks up a DT today/tomorrow. Our LBs were taking on guards and tackles way too often last night.

The OLine played better last night after the first couple series. I actually was pretty happy with the offense overall. Not that it did WELL, but it did BETTER, and we saw signs of what is CAN be once we have Wynn back for Newhouse (who is bad) and get Sanu more integrated.

As for Brady, yeah he doesn't have Mahomes arm strength. But he never did.

Again, if you want me to list what's wrong with the offense, Brady ain't high on the list.

errr...what? Why is my post ironic? I'm pointing out that he's said the same thing for five years and been wrong to such a degree that any normal person would be completely embarrassed to keep raising the issue.

He literally said Brady was DONE BEFORE the following happened:

Patriots went to five straight AFCCGs

Patriots went to four Super Bowls

Patriots won three Super Bowls

Brady won an NFL MVP

Brady won two SB MVPs.

I mean, Jesus Christ, that is wrong on an epic scale.

We are going to be a MUCH better offense by the end of this month. No question.
