The only reason we beat LA is because Bosa didn't start, hmm, did Berry play? I'm a little ****ed up - I may've missed something? Certainly they'd include that VERY important nugget.

It should be noted that Joey Bosa did not play for the chargers. Their whole defense is built around the pass rush of Bosa and Ingram so without Bosa, the Charger defense is nowhere near as good.

steelers universe seems to be their only decent forum where realists type their opinions, the other two look like turd box forums chock full of homers w/o any true football knowledge.

Another thing that might be good for us. I've said before I think the Rooneys kept Haley around to keep Ben in check. Ben whined that he wasn't able to freelance enough. Haley's the only guy that forced him to get rid of the ball. Led to a boring offense. But he only took 21 sacks last year which is much needed for a guy his age.

Sure enough, Ben takes 4 sacks in his 1st game without Haley and hurts his elbow. Ben hasn't taken 4 sacks in 1 game since September 2016. Is Cleveland really that good? Was this a fluke? We may have an opportunity to put some pressure.

He doesn't have Bell's versatility and it does affect their offense.

I think that the Steelers should keep the tag on him until after game 10, then, when he gets ready to sign it to get that accrued season, yank it. Let him scramble to sign asap to be able to get 6 games. It would be nice if the entire league then waited a week without signing him so that he couldn't get that accrued season. I would laugh my ass off. Never gonna happen. But it would certainly be nice to see.

Bell is an amazing RB...I dont blame him for holding out. Steelers were going to grind him into the ground this season.

$14 mill is a lot of money but $40-$50 mil+ guaranteed is worth the gamble. He blows his knee out and he loses millions. He's only 26. He's going to get paid somewhere. I'm sure the Jets would like to pair him with Darnold.

Just because CLE took it to PIT, doesn't mean KC will do the same.

CLE defense is better than KC's. Their pass rush is legit, they actually get to the QB.

KC isn't going to luck out on dropped passes from Brown or Smith like they saw in LAC last Sunday. Those guys will make those plays and will torch KC's secondary, which is giant ****ing problem on this defense.

And let's not forget, just because PIT doesn't have Bell doesn't mean they can't run the football. RB is the easiest position to replace/plug n play. Connor ran for 135yds on Sunday, no reason to think he can't do the same vs KC.

It's pretty embarrassing to lose to CLE any way you look at it. And tying to CLE is the same thing as losing to CLE. I'm sure PIT is hearing it throughout the town, on local radio/news shows etc. They're going to be pissed/motivated, wanting to make a statement in front on their home fans. I mean if putting up a tie against CLE doesn't motivate you, I'm not sure what does.

KC fans really ate up the rival "dropped passes" narrative.

Sad. Other teams own our fanbase. I thought Mahomes would change that but apparently not.

Both teams dropped the ball, if Mahomes wasn't rushed on that one pass to Deanthony Thomas it's 45-28. LA doesn't deserve excuses, they lost 9 straight to us like a b*tch that they are

Finally, a confident KC team is coming to Pittsburgh for the first time since I don't know when. Alex had those games lost before kickoff

What benefit does Bell get for accruing another season? Won't he be a free agent at the end of the year regardless of whether he plays or not?

I'm pretty sure if he doesn't get credit for the season he can either be tagged again or becomes a restricted free agent. Could be wrong
