Our veterans (McCullar, Dickinson, Harris) closed that game very well in the last 5 minutes. That's about all I'll say about that one although I did like McDowell's effort today. Need to see more of him.

3 man bench: Furphy, McDowell, and Braun.

Braun isn’t anything special but he’s big enough to play competent minutes at the 5 to give Dickinson a break.

Braun is fine for what he is (sort of like a less effective Lightfoot). And those three are what it is gonna have to be. Timberlake minutes are completely wasted minutes.

The fact that it took Timberlake 3 years at Towson to become a good shooter probably indicates that he struggles with pressure. It took him time to get used to Towson conference defense.

He isn’t going to get comfortable in one season at Kansas.

He was absolutely worth giving a shot to because you can’t have too many shooters, but it’s over for him.
