To be fair you should always trade relievers for good returns. Failed starters are good relievers, and most of them are good for maybe 3 years.

I have a feeling when DM fields trade calls he starts quoting bible verses, talking about the evils of pornography, and inquires as to the person’s views on masturbation before they ever get to talking baseball. No wonder nobody ever feels like trading with him.

Barlow would be at the very top of my list to trade at this point, far ahead of Whit and Soler. But to be fair he absolutely should get a top prospect for him at this point or not do the deal. He'd get roasted and deservedly so.

I totally agree, and we're put a ton of miles on Barlow's arm, so I'd have no problem trading him.

But in this market, with all the trades we've seen today, you better get a team's top 5 prospect and then another mid-range guy or I'd hang up. There is no excuse to trade a guy for less just to keep up.
