Frank Clark ****ing sucks

Guy has done NOTHING in two games. Barely any pressures to speak of against trash OTs.

Yeah, I'm in bitchy gameday mode. Don't care. I'm tired of paying out the ass for defensive players who don't make plays.

At least Justin Houston could dominate against bad teams after we paid him.

The biggest difference, as Dane already mentioned, is that NFL offense has evolved. QB’s are more mobile, passes are quicker, and there’s less 5 and 7-step drops.

True... sack totals, at least on an individual basis, are certainly down to my eye.

It’s fascinating to see how it appears the mobile QB infusion and schematic evolution is impacting those numbers. When you look at the league leader list, there are only 6 guys in double digits. Most guys we consider to be really good to great players fall between 6-9 sacks.

Also helps that the NFL doesn't want offensive holding called anymore.

Thornhill (return to form)
Hitchens (been playing pretty well, communicator of the D)
Baker (could be a player obviously)
Fenton
Ward

That’s some serious talent before adding anyone else. They could be top 5 no doubt.

Just imagine if we shore up the o-line. I mean we were hard as hell to beat this year with that wet TP line. If Mahomes has time AND we can open holes to easily run the ball other teams are gonna be screwed.

I don't know if it's ever been confirmed but Crohns disease seems to be the consensus.

That's what my initial thoughts were. Shame really as his performances would be so much better.

Hell of a game for 'Playoff Mode' Frank Clark last night. 2 tackles 0 sacks baby!

Don't worry he is saving the sacks for the Super Bowl

Chris Jones and Frank Clark were both ass yesterday. I saw them both get one pressure and that was it.

And that big run that happened after Patrick got hurt? Yeah that was Chris Jones leaving his gap and opening the ****ing field wide open

Would like us to focus on the O line in the draft. Although we have Niang and LDT coming back already. Another couple of additions would be great there.

Although also kind of want Freiermuth or a WR in the first round.

On the biggest defensive play of the game, Jones' pressure up the middle forced Mayfield to check down to Hunt where our guys were able to make the easy tackle and get off the field.

Clark didn't make any splash plays yesterday, but I'm hoping his day was littered with little big plays like that that don't show up on the stat sheet. We did a really great job of bottling up Chubb and keeping Baker uncomfortable in the 1st half so I wouldn't doubt he did some dirty work.

Regardless, we need more pressures and sacks next week and hopefully in the Super Bowl.
