NFL Primetime with Chris Berman/Tom Jackson Returning
ESPN is bringing back NFL Primetime with Chris Berman/Tom Jackson on their streaming service, ESPN+.
Hopefully all of the original elements return... the long form highlights, the music, etc.

Chris Berman looks like an old worn out Persian rug.

In fact, he did a pretty much farewell tour that was really endearing. He is a decent listen when he’s not puking out Cliched soundbites after being overworked and obviously mailing it in. He was really bad towards the end and I couldn’t stand him. But getting in some longer form discussions changed my tune entirely. And the way his wife went was just brutal. |

Only reason they are coming back is because of Mahomes.

His knowleage of music and how to use trends in ATS wagering was what I liked about Berman and he did knew the history of the game also.

I always liked that show; harkens back to a time when the "S" in ESPN still stood for "Sports." Sort of like how the "M" in MTV once stood for "Music" and the "L" in TLC stood for "Learning."
But I'm sure as hell not paying another subscription fee for it. |

Just paid for it. It’s only $20 for ESPN + for the whole NFL regular season which awesomely ends on 12/29. I’ll just cancel on 12/30.

Once heard Berman........."Squirmin' " Sherman Lewis had nothing on him (forget who he was talking about.
Who in the hell can talk Sherman Lewis? Wiki Lewis began his football career at Michigan State as a halfback. He was named to the College Football All-America Team and finished third behind winner Roger Staubach and runner-up Billy Lothridge for the Heisman Trophy in 1963. His professional playing career included parts of the 1964 and 1965 seasons with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He also played the 1966 and 1967 seasons with the New York Jets of the American Football League (when the AFL was absorbed by, but not yet merged with, the National Football League). |
