But he chokes out in the playoffs. You know...the part of the season we're in. So why are you trying to use regular season stats when we know he plays differently in the playoffs? And the metrics you've provided prove that in the playoffs Giannis is a better player.

That's still all true. Irving was no prime Dwayne Wade (top 50 player in history) or Steph Curry (top 20 player in history and the best #2 option in the history of basketball), but he's still a far better #2 option than a 33 year old Wade whose knees were shot and had become a barely league average player by 2015.

James Harden is the Chiefs personified in a basketball player. We all know how that goes when it actually matters.

It matters for the purposes of explaining why/how Harden is a better offensive player than Giannis when all things are considered equal. That Harden is a choker in the playoffs regularly had nothing to do with that.

Which, of course, is the complete opposite decision to Durant leaving the greatest dynasty the league has ever seen (and the guaranteed titles that would bring) to save his legacy. |

Not much different than LeBron returning to Cleveland to save his legacy from The Decision.

If Wade never declines to that extreme extent, Miami keeps winning titles and LeBron likely plays in Miami for at least another 4-5 years. He wasn't concerned about saving his legacy in going to Cleveland, he was concerned about winning. |

LeBron's the one that said he wanted to bring a title to Cleveland. After his ridiculously egotistical 'Decision' television special that soured his standing in the league for years it's no wonder. I'd have felt like shit too. Of course, he eventually just ****ed off to Los Angeles to get fat and happy on movie money, so good for him.

Wade was the only reason they had a shot against Dallas in the ‘11 finals. They still lost. |

Tough scene for MJ here. I was told he could do no wrong. |
