Oh, but he was offsides for a very SPECIAL play. It wasn't just some 1st and 10 back in the 1st quarter.

Offsides penalties are inexcusable. That’s pre snap and shows a lack of discipline.

Welcome to the club. Veach couldn't win a trade against a 7th grader in fantasy football.

Oh well, give me a day or so and i'll stop being so pissed. Here I was preparing myself to be a bit disappointed if we only got the 49ers 2nd round pick this year. I wanted a 4th or 5th rounder too.

Never prepare yourself for a Chiefs' disappointment because they will always double-down and really ****ing piss you off. JFC.

My Ford stance has nothing to do with that. It’s about the player, his deficiencies, and what they do to the D around him.

I get wanting to trade him, but you don't have to lie to yourself to justify it.
I'm not entirely sure if you're being sarcastic or if you really believe what you just said...

I'm not going to delve into deep analytical stats (Im not mentally equipped to) but attempt to think about it like this, I would think based on our offensive production last year, our pass rushers were afforded near the top of the league in pass rush attempts (I have no idea if that is a stat, but given point differential and time left in the game, I'm sure someone smarter than me could figure it out) based on game situations in which it would be fair to assume the opposing team was passing in an attempt to make a comeback.

I apologize for the run on sentence in advance

Man it's like some of you guys are watching a completely different offseason. The Niners are going to suck next year. We just got an EXTREMELY high, valuable 2nd round draft pick next season for a guy who was totally one-dimensional in his best (contract) year, and a notch above a non-factor in most of the other four. Not to mention the cap space. Whether they keep the pick or deal it, it's a really nice chip to have.

I think Veach is having an excellent offseason so far. That was a bluff that would make Doyle Brunson proud. I love the Mattieu signing too. Safeties were getting paid, if you needed one as badly as we did, you were gonna have to cough it up. Berry is gone.
