As I've always maintained, he's a stat guy. And he's a good one. But he's not as valuable as people think. He's gotten better at maintaining his gap discipline this year, but it's still not good.

It would be interesting to see how Jones has improved in his run duties in the last 6 games when he was not hurt. He seemed to be getting some big run stops and shedding off those double teams better.

I agree. While he's not the run-stuffer as Nnadi and Pennel are, he's a force is the opposing O-line has to account for. I also agree that he's been pretty stout as the season wore on. I think he's just learning how to be a round peg in the round hole he should have been in all along.
