Pretty good production. And you say he only takes up one spot out of 11?

He's definitely got that Priest Holmes "offensive hub" air about him. The guy can do it all. With as poorly as the run blocking has been, we will need those pass catching skills a lot until that O Line gets shaped up.

I'd like to see more rushing opportunities with better blocking. Let's not forget that if they can get him to the second level, he's got a really good chance to take it to the house. Reid needs to realize this and adjust his offense a bit to take advantage of that, while at the same time continuing to improve his passing offense.

I am fine with him getting away from d line hits by catching more passes. He is still a bad ass.

Now break down just his 4th quarter stats to see what kind of pace he's on there. He's on a whole other level in the 4th quarter.

Plus, he's not huge. 280 carries is about right for a back his size.

He's been a relatively unproductive rusher so far this season, and I think that it's a combination of scheme and OL play. That being said, he's been getting more touches in the passing game than I expected, and that's having known that Reid was going to use him that way. Add in his very solid peripheral play (blocking, blitz pickup, etc), and I think that his production is more than acceptable. If our line ever gets their shit together, that assessment has the potential to improve.

I'd love to see MOAR CHARLES but if this team has a chance at the playoffs Phat Andy will be full gen(i)ousity for saving his body hits.
Hell, for that matter we've won 4 games with Bowe being a decoy on 90% of the snaps...
