Thoughts on OT Jon Asamoah
I think I like this guy, as long as he isn't Saivaii-ish. 3.8 GPA.... big on community work. Seems like a smart, tough, competitive football player |

Asamoah is nothing like Siavii. This was a really smart move by Scott.

We needed another guard. I do like this one... I'm just pissed about the 2nd round.

i like this pick, even though i don't know much about this draft...
could be the long term answer to our need at guard (particularly when waters leaves)... |

seems like a good kid from solid stock. saw he was rated as 2nd rated guard on several sites. hope he plays nastier than he interviews but i like the pick.

I wouldn't have minded him at 50.....takes a bit of sting out of that craptastic second round.

OT? Is being list as a RT for us? I thought he'd be a gaurd. Of course, with Lilja & Waters at Gaurd, we don't really need a starting gaurd ATM. If he can start at RT, that would fill a bigger need.
Albert-Waters-Weigman-Lilja-Asamoah Sounds okay if he can play RT... But does that seem likely? |

A great value pick in an already deep lineman draft.

Waters is terrible. We need a replacement ASAP.

Maybe Waters should try to play RT then... Callahan doesn't impress me much. Waters has not been great at gaurd, but he's more solid at that spot than any of our tackles have been. If we're drafting to the future rather than this season everybody stays put... Maybe we draft a Center as well.
