Today I thought the refs were excellent. I hope we get these refs next week and they work the super bowl as well. Called a very good game!

I really do prefer refs that tend to let the players play. Its just frustrating watching some of the other crews who throw a flag every 15 seconds.

I watched one of those pre-game shows and they were talking about the NFL instructing the refs to let the ticky tack fouls go. Let the players decide the games. Their point was this has been going on for years. They call games different in the playoffs.

Yea they always let more stuff go because when every game is a stand alone game there is going to be way more focus on refs throwing a bunch of flags.

So a team like the Chiefs actually benefits from it.

The two worst calls I thought were the running into the kicker and the non PI call on the Ebron route down the sideline.

Neither would have made any difference in the end result but they were still a bad call and non call, respectively.

I'm shocked that they didn't call Houston for the hit on Luck as he was going out of bounds. I believe it was a good no call but extremely close.

The hold on Sorenson, who was on the ground, was a close call. He may have been able to trip up Mack if he wasn't held.

They are still missing blatant holds on outside pass rushers.

But overall, I thought they were very good. The fact that they are letting the DB's play all post season is very good for the Chiefs DB's.
