And even if Thompson is the #3, he’s a much better receiver than Hyde and will most certainly be more involved in the passing game.

And I know what you said about Hardman, I still think you’re wrong. Who’s a better fit in the slot than him?
It comes from several people on various podcasts. People like Matt Derrick, Eric Eager, BJ Kissel, Shawn Barber.
Do you listen to the podcasts about the Chiefs?
Hardman may be the best option for the slot but that doesn't mean he will play there until he knows all of the routes from all 3 WR positions.

Yeah and the WRs in front of him were Maclin, Conley and Wilson. That is a huge difference from where our WR corp is now.

I highly doubt Carlos Hyde’s OTA “production” had anything to do with Williams, an UDFA, getting cut. Sorry, but that sounds like pure speculation bs from those guys. They weren’t even in pads.

Conley who was our #3 WR last year with the same WR’s aside from Hardman?

I never said only. I said mostly. That is all accurate. He will have to grow into a role. He might get a slightly larger role in the beginning of the season if Hill gets suspended but he also might not get that role if he doesn't catch on to the offense quickly.

There’s no “mostly” there.

And if he has a larger role early on that’s a far cry from being the #5 WR, and before you say anything he won’t open up the season as the #4 either with Hill out.

It was week 10 before Hill had more than 5 catches in a game and Hardman is no Tyreek Hill like you are trying to make him out to be either.

Context to me mostly was implied and should have been understood unless someone is just trying to be argumentative.

I hope you are right because that would mean he has beat out Robinson, Dieter, Pringle for that position which would be great. We will have to revisit this at a later date.

Did you ever think the Chiefs would have so many weapons on Offense? And an MVP Qb that can spread the ball all over the field and 80 yards deep?

Watkins is going to be a beast this year- he says it is the healthiest he has ever been.

Reek looks like a freaking machine in his workouts.

Deiter- will probably make the team. I think he could settle in the slot and split time there, will probably have a decent year for the opportunities he gets.

Kelce is looking good as a Karaoke Rock Star after that ankle cleanup.

DTrain- is going to have a Priest type year.

Hyde is beefed up for short yardage power runs.

The Sausage- is All-Pro, Sausage / Hyde Power game would be interesting.

DRobb- has a great connection with Mahomes and now that Glass Hands Conley is gone- should get a lot more intermediate and deep targets.

Hardman, Pringle, and Kemp- 1 will make it while the other two have a good chance of catching on another team.

That is about as loaded as you can get. Championship type Offense for sure.

Right, Tyreek Hill was a RB in college, so at least Hardman isn't learning an entirely new position like Hill was...

You mean the context where you said he’d be buried on the depth chart also? I don’t know how else I was supposed to interpret that.

Lol I literally said Hardman isn’t Tyreek in the post you quoted.

But with Tyreek on the field and teams doing their best to stop him Hardman’s speed and ability to score from anywhere on the field is enough reason for him to not be buried on the depth chart and have an opportunity to produce on offense.

You said that and then contradicted yourself by comparing the two with Hill did this as a rookie. Can't talk out of both sides of your mouth.
