I'm cool with getting rid of both of them, but I easily keep Ford over Houston.

Ford gets you at least one high pick.

And that's the BIG plus. Houston + a high pick (#2?) at less money than Ford.

It better be a 2 plus then. His last season is worth that to someone.

It's entirely possible that someone that's all in right now would throw a #1 in. A team with an aging QB maybe. Saints? Green Bay?

Probably a 3-4 team, but not necessarily.

But I keep saying #2 because I think that's baseline what you could expect.

I don't think the saints have a first. Green bay has it.

#12 and #30. Wonder if our 2 and Ford would be worth 12? Our 2 and a 5?

Hell no! That's the dumbest thing I keep hearing. Ford is the best pass rusher we have. he's also one of the best in the league and he's in his prime. With the offense we now have it puts teams into passing mode in the 2nd half and the best way to pressure that is a speed edge rusher.

Getting rid of houston or ford either one is just dumb!

And I don't give a shit about the money.

then you're stupid, and you're lining up for another season of a Red Carpet Defense, #31 overall.

both guys play one position in this defense. You have no money at all to sign anyone of any impact to the rest of the defense.

We've been talking about this for quite awhile. Catch up.

Spags can put them both in position to be effective at the same time. They don't both have to be RDE.

You're not going to replace either of them with better talent .

And I'm not reading through the whole thread to CATCH UP.

then don't join a conversation that's been going on for days and weeks.

I mean you're literally the guy at the party that walks up to a group of guys that have been talking and just starts blurting shit out when everyone else has already worked through the next 8 steps in logic.
