IF they did that, Veach is as incompetent as I thought.

Yeah because our draft was so terrible.

Are you trying to be the new OKChiefs or is it all an accident?

If he changed his entire draft strategy due to that tape? Yeah, that's really stupid. I think our draft was fine and assume the suggested notion is fabricated horseshit.

I thought Veach was terrible at first this offseason but he’s redeemed himself with the draft and Clark trade.

Our CBS aren’t great but we only need average when we have an offense this good.

He reacted to new information he received. Which is what any GM did. And despite that, he still pulled off a great draft.

Well I'm not sure the chiefs had the whole tape, they say they heard about it as we did.

And I didnt fabricate anything. I'm fairly certain what I heard was pretty close to being true.

He did have a great draft, but there's no question they were after a corner with their first pick. When one didn't fall to him, he took a guy who he likely felt had Tyreek Hill level upside.

At first, I thought it was because of the Tyreek Hill case, but now, I don't believe this to be the case. Think about what the Patriots defense did to the Chiefs in the 1st half by taking Hill away for the most part. If Hardman becomes a guy that defenses can't single-up, then their strategy of taking Hill away will fail.

As everyone under the ****ing sun knows, unless they are being specifically obtuse, the chiefs were 1000% targeting cornerbacks. When the good prospects fell off the board, they went to option number 2, which was to give Mahomes another weapon. Then they went to option number 3 which was to pick up another safety even though none of them were hot shit at all.

And the Chiefs version of hard knocks bears that out; NO ONE is talking about or even remotely excited about a ****ing safety.
I mean ****, you can see it written all over Veach's face; "I was forced to take option 2 on both of my picks".

Case.

****ing.

Its a bit early to call the draft a success but I am hopeful. I kinda like to see what they do when the contact and competition begins.

Hardman and Thompson are the last infinity stones for the gauntlet.

Mahomes is Thanos

Hill
Watkins
Williams
Thompson
Kelce
Hardman

Having Hill back is like having god mode activated as a cheat code.

That’s a group of skill position players (not even mentioning Pringle, Hyde and Robinson) that even a game manager could put up HUGE numbers with.

Mahomes has a great chance to break all of the passing and offensive records this year.

Has a chance to end up the best offense in history.

I can’t wait for the season to start.

I'm thinking they would have loved getting the cornerback more @ 2.1 followed by Hardman.

I'm not saying that we didn't get good, moldable players. I'm saying we didn't get what we wanted when we wanted it.

None were hot shit at all is a far cry from good moldable players...

And we wanted a cb in the first round IMO. We really did have a trade up into the first round in place.

And we traded up for hardman from our 2.1 , right?

And you might've missed it but Louis Riddick reported that thornhill has blown the chiefs away with some of the plays he's made so far.
