Everything is proceeding exactly as I predicted last year and reiterated earlier this year.

The Chiefs are doing their best to keep the team name in place but in doing so, the Clarks will need to remove all Native American imagery.

So, gone is Warpaint, the Arrowhead logo is being minimized and it won't be too long before the drum deck and any other reference to Native Americans have been removed.

Don't be surprised when other aspects have been removed, which will happen sooner rather than later.

Agreed but also I think Arrowhead will be spared because even though we associate that with Native Americans it certainly isn't limited to one group.

Lets just change the name to the KC Badass goatee wearing rednecks. Or just the rednecks for short. The logo can be a cartoon character of the standard CPer. Nobody gets offended, we spend the rest of our fandom days drinking beer, eating bbq, wearing jorts, and life is good

Feel bad for the Indian tribe that is going to lose money on this. I guess that is just one of those aspects people will have to get used to.

Yep, get rid of the imagery and maybe you can keep the name long term.
