Andy Reid secretly hates his ass for doing that cuisine nouveau bullshit where you pay $100 for 3 ounces of food on a large plate with some kind of weird jizz drizzle on top

However, Ramsay cooks up real food too, my man. His grilled burger approach is balls and his Shepherd's Pie sticks to the ribs. It's not 100% accurate to label Ramsay as a posh fusion gourmand. FAX |

Anyone know why he was there? Was he in town to shoot a commercial with Mahomes? Mahomes putting ketchup on Ramsey's food would be a natural Heinz commercial. Could be a Super Bowl commercial.

We did when they opened it was good for awhile then it wasnt. People said they were catering in the food and reheating in the end.

Isle of Capri should franchise a Niecie's it would kill it in that place. My Late Father loved buffets I would always ask where he wanted eat on birthdays it was always buffets. He liked Ameristar and Argosy's buffets and Old Town buffets.

So, this was just a visit from a famous chef who was in town to open a restaurant in a casino. Ok. Good stuff. I guess.
I mean, is he a Chiefs fan or something?

his schtick over here is embellishing the 'yelling' angle.
His show on the BBC "The F Word" was a great show; way more entertaining. He would do apisodes where they would raise, say, chickens etc, then butcher then and create a nice meal; or lamb etc. He was big on 'honoring' the animal that is giving it's life for our food ; not sure if 'honor' was the right word,..but you get the idea. There was a lot of cool stuff like that involved with that show. Not sure if it's even on now, but we used to watch it all the time. my experience is 'most' recipes on line, or particularly the peronsality chefs...the food/ recipe is bland. and is simply a starting point that will require lots of adjustments to make it taste as good as they claim on their shows. the few celebrity type / food people where I like their recipes pretty much right out of the gate are Ramsay, Alton Brown, and Ree Drummon (Pioneer Woman). We made a chicken tortilla soup from PW 2 weekends ago, and it was legit. only made a few tiny adjustmets to up the heat a little, but otherwise a great recipe. Her mac and cheese is great too among others. My wife ate at Ramsay's place in Vegas; she said it was some of the best food she's ever had. I suspect his food here will be really good, however, I'm not sure what the prices will be. Likely so high that I'll probably never go unfortunately. Speaking of high end pricey restaruants in KC....Pierponts...I thought that place was average at best (and I'm being generous). Steak was 'good', but not $65 good; then had to buy sides. I got mac and cheese (some fancy version) and it was awful. bland, no taste; literally looked like plain noodles with cheese sprinkled on it. not even kidding. Maybe they had a bad night; but for that kind of money, I'm not going back to give them another shot. I think we dropped like $200+ that night for a special dinner.

Let's be honest though. In places like casino restaurants, you're not paying for food made by Gordon Ramsey, you're paying for the marketing of having his name on the side of the building. Your food is gonna be cooked by pothead millennials trying to replicate a Gordon Ramsey recipe using cheap shitty sourced ingredients.
