But no, by all appearances, Hackett has decided to start Gordon so that Gordon will stop saying mean things to the press about Hackett. That's Denver's current HC.
I can agree with that. Gordon is a liability with that team now.

which is funnier? The delusions that Knowmo posted a bit ago or the fact that he thinks Walton will just be able to send a bunch of money in lieu of draft compensation that would be infinitely more valuable to a team like the Saints.

I think the delusion that Payton wants anything to do with Denver is the overall facepalm.

Where do their fans get the idea that Denver has all these weapons?

They are mediocre. Period.

He did get to play with a HOF defense..

Speaking of all the problems being because of a shitty HC...Seahawks seemed to improve the moment Wilson left...and the Donks somehow managed to get worse once he arrived.

A life-time back-up QB is killing it...running the same offense Willson did last year...starting to see a pattern? Carroll magically became the coach of a 1st place team in one off-season...

What is the one constant in these scenarios?

Walton's money bought a lot of off-season hype...Donk fans dont know enough about football to self-scout their own team. Tell them they are a SB contender is all you need to do...

They had heard of Wilson on the TV...Superbowl!!

The disappointment is very gratifying...I want half empty stadiums and an entire generation that doesn't care about the Donks...in about 5-7 years, maybe they've paid their debt...karma is ruthless.

Returning their fraudulent SB trophies would be a good start...wipe the cosmic slate clean. Until then..they deserve everything they are receiving.

He's close. Numbers wise, he's better than Eli in most categories.

You realize it took Elway (who I’m sure you all consider a generational QB) till the very end of his career to finally win a couple.

Mahomes is just fine. He’s already ahead of the game. Just because he’s not racking and stacking at a Brady pace (who had the benefit of elite defenses carrying him to titles those first few years), doesn’t mean he’s some kind of failure.

I mean, I get why you want to put that out there, but it’s a false narrative. (Unless you also consider Elway to be a failure?)

He doesn't have the superbowl rings Eli has, though. And as long as he remains a starter, it's highly unlikely he'll ever participate in another playoff game again.

Except for a HOF QB, an elite defense and defensive coordinator, an excellent GM, tons of weapons on offense and an owner who will spare no expense.
