Danna, a graduate transfer from Central Michigan and former first-team all-Mid-American Conference selection at defensive end, totaled 38 tackles (three for a loss), three sacks, two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble in his one season at Michigan. He was last listed at 6 feet, 2 inches and 261 pounds, calling into question whether he should be an end or an outside linebacker.

Because Danna did not receive an invite to the combine, the Detroit native and Warren De La Salle Collegiate High School graduate did not receive a pre-combine evaluation from the NFL. It’s unclear what that means for his draft stock.

At Central Michigan: After redshirting his freshman year, Danna improved each season with the Chippewas in his second, third and fourth seasons. His tackle total respectively increased from 31 to 54 to 66, his tackles for loss improved from 4.5 to 8.5 to 15 and his sack total increased from 1.5 to 4 to 9.5. His redshirt junior season, he added three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, ultimately being named first-team All-MAC and earning the team’s MVP award.

At the NFL Combine: Danna was not invited to the NFL Draft Combine, and was outspoken about his distaste for the snub. According to NJ.com, Danna ran a 4.77-second 40-yard dash.

Mock drafts and projections: Projected to go undrafted by every major mock draft, Danna is the No. 425 prospect in CBSSports’ rankings, He is the No. 39 edge rusher according to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler.

------------

He's a 5 year college football player with nice athleticism that didn't necessary spend his entire career against the best competition but put up nice numbers as a 5th year Senior at Michigan.

It sounds like Danna was a guy they didn't want to lose out on in the 6th or 7th, and didn't want to fight for during the UDFA madness, because they see something there and didn't want to take the risk.

We need him to play DE. We don't need him to play DT.

He can play on the end or GTFO.

I miss watching him in coverage when Sutton played him at OLB
