This version of the ravens

Styles make fights.

This current version of the ravens style just isn’t capable of fighting the chiefs.

And props to htisimage. Dude had this one nailed

Beat him at least twice for TDS.

I look for Baltimore to make a trade for a pass rusher at some point. If they play us again, they aren’t going to blitz like that again. But they also need help to get a rush with 4.

In the other Ravens threads, I looked at this game as a Pat Mahomes (sorry mom) / Michael Jordanesque possibility, and boy did he deliver.

And thus the difference between Pat and Lamar: I actually wanted Lamar with the ball in his hands and under duress. He made a couple plays here and there, but when you're under pressure, you ALWAYS revert back to what you are....and both Pat and Lamar did just that last night.....

Yep. They aren’t beating the chiefs if they have to blitz like that on nearly every down.

Oh. And also if their QB can’t make basic reads and throws they aren’t beating the chiefs. He is only Reliable off of play action.

One thing I hope the Chiefs do is continually upgrade the offensive line for that reason. The only way to slow our offense down is to get pressure with your defensive front and if we prioritize maintaining a good offensive line over the next decade, there are going to be very few teams do that against us.

We already have a key piece added for next year in Niang.

With all of the main weapons locked up, wouldn’t shock me if we prioritized OL, LB, and DB in the draft. Work out a few extensions along the DL, and we’re set there too.

It’s early but looks like Taco is well on his way to pricing himself out of KC, much like Ogbah

No doubt Peters was having flashbacks to all those practices a few years ago when Mahomes kept torching him.

They pretty much have to if they want to even compete with us. They pulled out all the stops with stunts and all out blitzing and Mahomes just vivisected them repeatedly.

If the last two years are any indication...KC seems to be developing a "system".

Sign vets and players with "upside" on the cheap...and they get a shot at a ring. McCoy, Suggs, Ogbah, Okafor, Wisniewski...Osemele, Taco. Veach tried to get Peterson.

Earl Thomas is praying KC calls him for spot duty around week 12...

I think I'd sit out.... You really want to finish your potential HOF career on a BOB coached team?

How about potentially winning another SB to rebuild your reputation instead....

That’s a dead end job. Houston is too flawed of a franchise to make any serious noise in the playoffs. But I guess if he’s desperate for money and nobody else wants him, a beggar can’t be a chooser.
