Why was Darrell delegated to third string?? Thompson should never see the field again and Washington needs to be brought up. If Damian Williams didn’t opt out this year, Darwin wouldn’t be on the team

No one is suggesting that Darwin is going to be a superstar RB, but he did show legit speed/playmaking ability during the preseason last year when given carries.

Hell, I used to be a Darrel Williams hater back when people went stupid about Carlos Hyde in the 2019 preseason. He's a backup for a reason. He's not a starter. But he does fine in the role we ask him to do.

You know, sometimes it's okay to just have players on your roster who get the job done without any extra icing on the cake. Every Super Bowl roster has a few of those players. It just so happens we have one of them as RB depth. He's not starter quality, but when he's on the field, he doesn't mess anything up and usually does just enough to set up his teammates to make the big plays.

I'm fine with upgrading in the offseason. Hell, I'm fine upgrading during the season if we come across a much better player somewhere. I'm not married to the guy. But it's false to say he hasn't been good enough.
He got one of the first downs that helped seal the game last night, didn't he?
