Best free service/app for downloading and compiling videos

Question...

Looking for a the easiest and cheapest way to download videos or portions of video that are on a Google drive (MP4 files) and put them into one 'highlight' type of reel.

Girls varsity volleyball - one of the dads has a number of game videos and he has provided us links to the full games. I'd like to just create a highlight video to share and maybe play at the end of season banquet.

Any suggetions?
