Frozen Hamburger Patties
Anyone have any luck with a specific brand or product? Looking for maybe twenty pounds of patties for a birthday party. If you have any horror stories of a brand lay them out here so I know to stay away from them.

Dude, if you have a Sam's Club around you, they have Members Mark Back and Cheddar Cheese Stuffed Angus burgers (frozen patties) that are freaking awesome.

I'll be getting my quarter of steer next week. Currently in processing. Great thing about mid mo is the amount of local meat processors. Stock up one 1 pound ground beef, fajita and stew meat, steaks, get a good chunk of brisket. Can't be beat.

But even if you aren't related or know someone who raises steers, its easy to find locals selling beef. And its usually cheaper than buying from the store.

Why not just buy a mix of 50 hamburgers/cheeseburgers from McDonalds? Saves you a lot of time and money and every kid eats them. You look like the hero. LOL

Buy 15 lbs of 90% fat beef, 5 lbs of pork and a plastic "patty maker". Mix the meat, drop in the maker, refrigerate or freeze.

The pork adds tenderness and added flavor.

You can whip out a bunch in no time. Better and cheaper.

Seems pretty lean for a burger. I like closer to 20% fat for beef, and most pork is 85-90% lean, too.
