Who remembers the Monday night game back in 98' where Derrick Thomas dragged Shannon Sharp downfield about 10 yards by his face mask? I think Wayne Simmons was throwing hooks and jabs too.. LOL. That was awesome....

I was 8 at the time but its something I vaguely remember. It had to be pretty cool for me to remember. Derrick was my absolute favorite player.

To this day that game is one of biggest reasons I hate Thannon Tharp.
But you have to give him credit for getting in Derricks head by yelling out his girlfriends phone number or whatever.

Hey! I became a Chiefs fan right before that lovely 6 game losing streak that torpedoed the 98 season.

This game very much stands out. Wasn't Elway even injured for this one? I listened to it on the way back from wrestling practice. It introduced me to how the Chiefs would often perform on a huge stage for years to come.

Let's hope this Saturday breaks that.
