@RapSheet: Text I received from ex-#Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel: "It has happened. Going home to watch it snow. Happy New Year." #CLASS #BLACKMONDAY

"Feeling sorry" isn't the right emotion. I respect him as a person and wish him good health and happiness spending time with his grandkids. He knows what the score is, and I seriously doubt there's any bitterness there (though surely disappointment that he failed as a HC again).

I wave goodbye to him as he walks off into the sunset of retirement -- and am glad he's gone.

I do.

Just like Herm, I was furious with his coaching, but as people they are good.

I wish the best for Crennel.

I don't he. He willingly accepted a job knowing that he would be a fall guy. Spineless.

The only thing I feel bad about is that he's walking out before Fat Scott. Yes, RAC must be fired, but he's not the true problem here, and he should be following Pioli, not leading the way.

Crennel bought into the kool aid just like this entire forum did

somehow this place forgets back in August/training camp when it was

-Jon Baldwin looks like a beast warrior god breakout year 1000 yards
-Peyton Hillis is a monster 800 yards 10 touchdowns makes Thomas Jones look like a turd
-Jalil Brown will be our Brandon Carr savior
-Dexter McCluster will have 90 touches in this offense and be our next Wes Welker
-Ricky Stanzi throws the best ball
-Matt Cassel has improved

this was in August. This place was exploding with this homerism. So was RAC. These were the expectations for this pile of shit team, the talent was overhyped, and this entire forum predicted at least 10-6 and playoffs.

Why would RAC think any differently than even us average fans? The wheels fell off quick, the fans got negative and pissy real fast and RAC has looked like he aged 20 years in 4 months.

Well, Cassel did have a great first half in the season opener. Then he remembered who he was.
