I'm not buying the lesser QB argument. The numbers really don't prove your point.

TGon pretty much had the same per game numbers with Matt Ryan as he did with the assortment of KC QBs he played with. Remember your offense was hell on wheels when Green and Vermeil where there and TGon put up monster numbers. It wasn't like he had Tyler Thigpen, Coyle and Huard his entire career and when he did he still had a 90 catch 1000yd seasons which were pretty much average Gronk/Brady seasons.

Are you saying Gronk would not be in the GOAT discussion if he played in KC and ATL with other QBs not named Brady?

That's correct, and we're talking Qualitative evaluation.
Continuity is truly factor.

That's like saying who's better Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders.

Not really. If he was a 40 catch 500yd TD with Brodie Coyle and then a 100/1100yd TE with Brady then your argument could be proven.

He had the same QB for 5 years in ATL and a dozen in KC and had the same per game numbers.

If you are great at your job, coaches will get you the ball. That happened with TGon.

I'm speaking of 12 years in KC during his prime, since Gronk played 9 years afterall

essentially, you're saying you never followed Tony's career since you're going on sheer numbers and not continuity or issues of toxic environments

You brought up the lack of continuity at QB as a crutch and jumping to the conclusion it hurt his stats. I looked up the stats and disproved your assertion.

As I said earlier I have watched TGon play (I'm kinda old) and my conclusion is Gronk was a better blocker both run and pass and a more explosive playmaker.

You disagree with my conclusion and that is fine.

Gronk better blocker no question, but all the rest nope .

essentially you're saying Gronks play wouldn't have faultered
if he went through the exact situation that Gonzalez went through.

Dude, you're deluding yourself if you believe he'd held in the same esteem and I've watch Gonzalez since college Football
and Basketball for draft curiosity.

If he did he'd be in the Antonio Gates or Greg Olson conversation.

My god. You make it sound like TGon played for the Browns.

So TGon is better than Gronk because he put up HoF numbers for crappy teams? Thats so arbitrary.

Are you saying Gronk's career was easy and without challenges and adversity?
