It's normal to give up big plays to a good offense. It happens. The scheme was sound. The jump balls were caught in double coverage. The defenders were there. What more can a DC do? Twenty points to this team is a solid defensive effort.

We USED to lose these games ALL the time. No more! We got Mahomes!

Those big plays were all double covered jump balls-and guess what? Chase and Higgins are ****ing awesome and made plays.

Putting that on Spags as if it's some schematic coaching failure is ****ing stupid.

Imagine saying you don't like our DB coaches.

Rookies all over the defensive backfield playing extremely well, and you don't like our DB coaches.

Absolutely ****ing reeruned.

I thought they handled Chase fairly well last night, he made a few plays but nothing major.

What would you have done differently from a scheme perspective on those plays to prevent the 1st downs?

The D and the gameplan on D was superb. I don’t know how anyone could have a problem with holding the Bengals to 20 points. In addition, we won the TOP battle, which means the D was getting off the field. Anyone with a brain could tell you that our D (and ST’s) were the difference in that game for us last night.

Watching Getup this morning they are whining about the refs. Outside of the double 3rd down which when you see the replay it was the correct decision I didn't think the refs were that bad. Or maybe I am used to shoddy NFL officiating.

Funny nothing is ever said when the refs are terrible against the Chiefs and we've had plenty of games against us. I'm sure there were calls missed on the other side but let's ignore that.

Holy Shit!

I’m not going to ruin his call by quoting the last part, but I was ready to knock down a brick wall when he said it!
