Let's talk about the Titans (AFC Championship edition) thread

The AFC Championship runs through Arrowhead.

Hunt's Chiefs beating Bud Adams' Oilers/Titans for the right to go Super Bowl in 100th year just seems fitting. The two original AFL franchises in 100th year.

Football Outsiders ranks the Titans as the 20th best pass defense and the WORST pass protection OL.

We need to come out firing. Get a lead, keep firing, and this one SHOULD get out of hand quickly.

They sat back on Lamar Jackson and dared him to beat them with his arm. He couldn’t do it. If they do that against Mahomes, he’ll throw for 500 yards (like he could’ve in the first meeting).

Considering how this season has panned out, the loss to Tennessee was a blessing in disguise. There is zero chance we look past them.

There should be a CP ban on mentioning their record.

it's a tale of two teams.

Mariota's team: 2-4.

Tannehill's team: 11-3

That's the reality.

Overlook them at your own peril.

Exactly !! But I think today's 1st qrt and half debacle will remedy the "overlooking" part for next week.

The Faketriots and Ravens didn’t have the downfield passing game that the Chiefs have to jump quickly on Tennessee and make them play from behind.
Lot of flukey BS in that game.

Then again, I didn't think the Texans could have so much flukey BS go their way a second time around. Yet the Texans did get a bunch of flukey BS the 2nd time around, and it did not matter in the end thanks to a healthy Chiefs offense firing on all cylinders during 2nd to 4th quarters.

I sure hope the Chiefs show up a lot more ready to play in the first quarter next week. Don't even take the chance of a 2nd round of flukey BS with this Titans team.

If the Chiefs execute, the Chiefs win. It’s as simple as that.

also we have Bill OBrien to thank as well. He should really lose his job after this game. I assure you they(fanbase) will be calling for his head tomorrow.
