He's still way too young to say what he'll do at the major league level. He just turned 25 this off-season! He can still get at-bats. They'll need to be creative. But if you can sign Moose at 6.5, you do it. Even for the chance they can flip him for something at the deadline or when a team loses their starting 3B. Makes too much sense at that price.
This is all fair and I won’t debate you. I just genuinely do not see it with this kid. I never have. Maybe I’ve just turned myself off to him, I don’t know. I just don’t see him as an every day contributor at the major league level. I don’t.

You guys can hate on me all you want but I think Dayton Moore is a butthole.

From the porn shit to "tanking" to signing butt****ing morons like Jon Jay and Lucas Duda to giving Moose $6.5 million - the guy has ZERO direction.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, much to the chagrin of Royals lovers: Dayton Moore should have either resigned or been fired after the 2017 season.

It's time for new leadership and I'm sorry, the "new" TV contract in 2020 isn't going to solve all of their problems.

I agree that Dayton sucks. But now that he's already ****ed up by not actually rebuilding, might as well bring back an old pal!

Royals keep signing these guys to deals you can't argue with in a vacuum. One of Soler, Bonifacio, and Cuthbert is going to be an odd man out for ABs at the major league level this year.

I'd like to see if Cuthbert can improve on his 2016, which was pretty solid.

They keep making this team not terrible. I can live with it, I guess. Won't be a bit surprised if they hang around the WC race a lot longer than people expect.

Jay
Merrifield
Moustakas
Duda
Perez
Gordon
Soler
Bonifacio
Escobar

Is potentially interesting. And far better than what we were staring at a week ago

Last thing I’ll say.

For every grit “he needs a chance!” guy we’ve had like Kila, Colon, Gio, etc. We’ve had guys who have turned it around after the fan base gave up on them.

“Alex Gordon is a bust” -2009
“Eric Hosmer is a bust” - 2012
“Lorenzo Cain is a bust” - 2012-2013
“Mike Moustakas is a bust” - 2012-2014
“Luke Hochevar is a bust” - 2008-2012
“Danny Duffy is a bust” 2015

Etc, etc. I just want Cutty to get a fair shake. That’s all.

Okay, actually done.
