So, you're short GME? Sounds like easy money.

Irrational markets will last longer than your money.

Can't wait to see how things work tomorrow.

I'm playing the GME game also, but let's be honest here. Not a single one of us is buying this stock because we think it's going to suddenly turn into a reliable and profitable company. Nobody cares about the management. It's all about the hype, squeeze potential, and quick price fluctuation. Anybody saying otherwise is lying.

I agree to an extent, but the future outlook/possibilities make it a lot easier to diamond-hand these shares. Even if this goes back sub-50 I'll hold on to my 52 free shares long-term and see what magic Cohen can deliver.

Same goes for AMC...people dissing saying they're going to die/go bankrupt/etc. COVID isn't going to last forever, and as soon as the country opens back up 100% people are going to be tripping over themselves trying to get to the movies.

Hell, I won't lie. I'm down just a little over 2.5 grand this week. I quit making stupid trades and listening to people on reddit, stocktwits, and random joes making youtube videos about 6 months ago. I moved all of my funds into slow growth etf's and funds. It wasn't pretty or flashy. My account didn't spike up or down very much each day, but it was a slooow and steady climb up.

Then...about 3 weeks ago I was talking with a buddy of mine I hadn't talked to in a few months. Turns out, he and his wife have been having fun playing the stock market. A few ideas get kicked around, we ended up talking more each day about stocks, and before you know it I abandoned my plan to swear off day trading and jumped into meme stocks.

I'm not good at it. I proved that to myself last year. I'm not upset that I've lost about 15% of my portfolio, I'm mad that I didn't have the self control to say no. This shit is like the casino. I'm going to see where these last 20 shares of GME go tomorrow, then I'm done with this shit.
