He had to work for his shots. It was clear he was flustered. As Hamas said, he's a catch and shoot guy. He's not a shot creator. Which was obvious any time he tried to drive and got bottled up.

The Heat crowded the lane to stop Duncan early in the series. They decided to take away the open 3 late in the series. And they played active defense instead of passively letting guys drift without a defender to close.

Green will hit open shots. He had to work too hard for those shots today. THat's a good defensive adjustment on Spo's part.

I'd say games 6 and 7 were the best of his career.

I'm a LeBron hater, but I'm not unreasonable. I don't care if he missed in game 6. I care that he decided in the 4th that it was his team and made no apologies about it. In game 7, he did the same thing but didn't miss.

Like I said, Green will hit a shot when he's open. The last 2 games, they decide to frustrate him. It ended up being a good strategy.

They didn't run any different defensive rotations than they normally run, they just made Green put it on the floor. Something he's terrible at.

In the end, he's a good shooter who can make some shots when he's open, who rode an extremely hot hand early in this series.

Again, good shooter, but not really a guy that most NBA teams don't have.

Spurs really missed their opportunity in game 6. That was their game to be won. Oh we'll.....

It always seems like in sports if you lose a close game 6, it takes the wind out of your sails.

And the dude is only 28 years old. I don't necessarily think he's the best player ever, but at this rate, when all said and done, he will be right there.

Definitely. Jordan in '93 was the best I've ever seen, but what LeBron did wasn't far behind it.

The LeBron-Kobe argument shouldn't have been one, but given what he had to work with, this definitively settles it.

My argument all along was that Green is a guy that was a perfect shooter for the kind of defense the Heat run. They were often vulnerable to quick ball movement and would have gotten destroyed by the Pacers if they actually had outside shooters who knew how to hit shots.

To stop Green, they had to change their style of play. Kudos on the defensive adjustment, but I'd blame Green's cold play on the defensive adjustment. If Spo didn't change the approach, I think he still has a great game 6 and 7.

The majority of Heat "fans" boasting and gloating tonight we're doing the same thing a few years ago when the Lakers and Kobe Bryant won their title..ask them to name three players from the Heat's 2006 title team.... no respect for bandwagon fans

LeBron's had some great closes to games. I've felt he's too passive in big games, particularly in the playoffs. Or he put too much pressure on himself in those situations.

As I've always said... given how good he is, I dont' want him passing the ball to Bosh or Haslem in the closing seconds of the game. Even this series, there were games where he didn't take a shot in the 4th quarter for minutes at a time. In games 6 and 7, I saw the killer instinct I haven't seen in a lot of his playoff performances, but I saw in Indiana. His games 6 and 7 were miles ahead of the rest of the series.

Probably a little of both, but it's not as if he didn't have looks in either game. He was just ridiculously hot for 4 or 5 games, then missed those in game 6 and 7.

They didn't really make many adjustments as far as guarding Green. They always tried to run him off the line, he was just making shots.

It is the absolute worst place to put a powerhouse team like this. I believe they were the 7th worst TV rated team the year before LeBron joined, and they made the playoffs that year.
