-- Dear Jody Fortson

Hello Jody Fortson, I wanted to tell you that I'm messaging you on Facebook to let you know that you were one of my favorite 'up and cuming' players on my all-time favorite team the KC Chiefs! Additionally I am proud of all the success you have had and wish you nothing but the fastest recovery ever! Also, my very favorite website on the internet is www.chiefsplanet.com all my friends over there wish you nothing but the best. PS, you have a nice smile, and you know what they say about that!...? ...Anyhow, Godspeed to you and in the mean-time get the nose in that playbook. Future is looking better each passing day. Get well!

Simply Red on www.chiefsplanet for Mr. Jody Fortson from my friends + me <3

I just re-watched his injury. He took about two steps off the line after the ball was snapped and he just fell down on a running play. He was well away from the point of attack. Just went down like he was shot. Scary. It can happen that fast.

“Mr Fortson, you have just been chose for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. You were All Pro 12 times, OPOY twice, and a 9 time Super Bowl Champ. How did you go from the practice squad to being one of the greatest players of all time?”

Jody Fortson (NFL HOF TE):

“Well…it all started with a Facebook message I received after tearing my Achilles…”

Cornell has zero speed. He will have to be a route running Zeus to make the roster as a wr.

Maybe he would have if he wasn't creeped out by being called an "up and cumming" player
