I did this until I was able to level my Dex up enough to wield the laito.

Man you must be way ahead of me. I finally got enough STR/DEX to wield the Black Knight Sword. Is it weaker than the iaito?

I just got to Blighttown. I kinda got side tracked because I didn't get the master key, so I never got Havels Ring until now. Had to kill that stupid butterfly.

Havels ring + the Wood grain ring from the forest covenant == awesome

The iaito is pretty much the best scaling sword in the game, so I've found. Get that thing to a +15 or add some lightning to it and it is a monster.
I rotate my +8 iaito, +9 claymore, and lightning spear (phenomenal weapon found in Sen's Fortress).

You'll love the framerate in blightown... it's a ****in slideshow.. I was so happy to leave that shit hole along with the depths..

Man, getting cursed is about the worst ****ing thing that can happen to you in the game, LOL. Those ****ers in the depths destroyed me.

If you're a pyro, you already have the best armor for poison/curse resistance -- the tattered cloth set.
