I guess I don't see how this is a terrible deal... $9m per year isn't a bad contract in today's market and Cobb was really good just a couple years ago. I didn't watch enough of him in Dallas to know how he was last year, but unless he suddenly can't run well, I don't think this is a bad pickup at all.

They probably could've gotten Antonio Freeman for a lot less than what they're going to pay Cobb.

The issue is this comes off the heels of letting go their top 3 WR.

None of the moves they're making seem prudent.

Ok, how about when you factor in that they supposedly were trading Hopkins because they were in cap hell and Hopkins was only making 13 per year?

Now, its obvious they traded Hopkins because he didnt get along with BoB but that wasn't the reason given that he was on the block.

And when you are only saving 4 per year to go from Hopkins to Cobb, you are losing.

I think Donald Driver is a better option at this point than Freeman, but that's just me.

When you have the opportunity to dump an All-Pro WR for a JAG making $4M less and a $13M brokedick RB, you gotta take it.

I like Cobb, and thought he was a great signing for the Cowboys at $2M was awesome.

That's the kind of vet deals we need to be making. I mean hell the Cowboys will get a nice compensatory pick for Cobb, which is amazing.

What the **** is Houston doing? I mean, I know they are demoralized with Mahomes going to be up in their dome for 20 years but man.
